Lego Exhibit in Lower Bay Station

Event Details

As part of Doors Open Toronto, the TTC is opening the hidden Lower Bay subway platforms for public viewing. This lower platform was closed in 1966, and it is now only used for movie shoots and equipment testing. Adding fun to the experience, Transit Bricks will be putting on a display of LEGO TTC buses and streetcars alongside various other displays in Lower Bay Station.

The hidden Lower Bay subway platforms will be open to the public from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Unfortunately, Lower Bay Station is not wheelchair accessible. There are 2 sets of stairs to access it from the westbound/eastbound subway platforms of Bay Station. Because this is inside the TTC system, visitors must pay their regular TTC fare. If you don’t have Presto or a Metropass, current cash rates: Adult $3.25, Student/Senior $2.10; Children 12 and under are free.
