Camp Tournesol Overnight Camps

Since 2001, Camp Tournesol has provided French day camps in Ontario for tens of thousands of children and now offers fully immersive overnight French language camps for ages 8–15 at two locations: in Schomberg and Bracebridge.

Camp Tournesol offers several overnight camp options:

Overnight camp for French immersion and francophone campers: Traditional, one-week overnight camps, with sports, wilderness activities, water activities—but where all activities, including meals and evening campfire, are conducted in French. This overnight camps are suitable for children in French immersion or francophone schools.

Overnight camp for Core French and beginning French learners: A one-week camp (Bracebridge only) where campers develop their French-speaking abilities gain confidence in the language.

Counselor in Training program: For campers entering Grades 9 and 10, a leadership camp that prepares youth for becoming camp counsellors.

Québec trip: For ages 10–15, a 13-day French-immersion trip to Montreal, the Mauricie, Tadoussac, and Quebec City.
