About Camp Wabikon
For more than 70 years, Camp Wabikon has provided youth from around the world with an exceptional overnight summer camp experience. Campers at Wabikon thrive in the safe, fun and nurturing environment created by the dedicated management and staff team. Each summer, youth travel to the magnificent island location in Temagami, Ontario, to participate in the quality camp program, including more than 30 land and water activities. Campers love the freedom of being able to choose their activities each day using a personal choice sign-up system.
Having Fun and Building Skills
Each camper is encouraged to try all of the activities offered at camp, including a cabin group canoe trip. This experience, in the breathtaking scenery of Temagami, is a highlight of many campers’ stay at Wabikon. All activities are taught by qualified, caring instructors with equal focus on learning and enjoyment. Campers have the opportunity to challenge themselves physically and gain valuable life skills such as independence, self-confidence, compassion and integrity.
A Unique Camp Experience
At overnight camp, campers have the unique experience to bond with their cabin mates and counsellors, forming friendships and memories that last a lifetime. The staff-to-camper ratio is 1:3. The majority of staff members have spent a significant number of summers as campers and counsellors-in-training at Wabikon.
Wabikon is a family-owned and -operated business that takes great pride in the work they do. For more than 35 years it has provided an outstanding Canadian camping experience. By limiting camper enrollment to 150, everyone at Wabikon feels like part of the family.
