Magnificent Minds Vaughan

Magnificent mind is a small private school for students in pre-K through grade 8 and therapeutic service provider located in Toronto since 2011. Their new Vaughan (Maple) campus opened in September 2019. They offer after school and summer programs, parenting workshops and supports, and therapeutic services.

Their students are bright, adaptive students who have struggled in traditional schools due to academic, behavioural, language-based, sensory, or social-emotional challenges. Many of our students possess a diagnosis of Autism, ADHD, or other neurological difference; we also support children without formally identified special needs or diagnosis, who simply benefit from a low-ratio, evidence-based teaching approach.

Using the science of learning (Applied Behaviour Analysis) and a commitment to experiential (hands-on) learning, they motivate their students to achieve academic excellence, personal greatness and develop resilience and coping mechanisms through best-practice in mental health support.

After school programs include a Creative Arts Social Program for kids aged 5 to 10, Skills and Drills (life, language, social and sports) for those aged 8 and up and the Adventure Program, also for 8+.

A variety of summer programming is offered for kids aged 2 to 15. This includes a communication group for little ones, social camp and skills camp.

Magnificent Minds is also an Ontario Autism Program provider and offers a number of therapeutic services, including one on one ABA/IBI, group ABA, emotion regulation training, occupational therapy, speech therapy and expressive art therapy.

Parent training and programs are available, including one on one behaviour skills training and workshops such as Strong-Willed Kids, Anxious and Overwhelmed Kids, and Autism Specific programs.
