A day of fishing and fun in Uxbridge for kids and families. The day starts with the Huck Finn Parade at 9:15 am: dress in your best Huck Finn costume and decorate bikes and wagons. Prizes will be awarded for costumes and decorations and prizes for all kids. From 10 am to 1 pm, fishing is open for kids and youth, ages 15 and under.
To get free bait and a loaner rod and reel, register at one of four Uxbridge locations: the Uxbridge Legion, Uxbridge Canadian Tire, Blue Heron Books, Uxpool, or Presents, Presents, Presents gift shop.
The parade begins at Elgin Park and continues along Water Street to Mill Street. Fishing on Elgin Pond.
