About Wonder School of Music and Arts – Bayview/Weldrick
Music and art school for all ages and levels in Richmond Hill. Year-round music classes as well as music summer camps. Music classes include private lessons in various instruments (piano, guitar, drums, woodwinds, strings, brass), voice lessons, musical exploration for toddlers and preschoolers, bands and ensembles, and music theory. The unique KidzRock program allows children ages 4–7 to learn to play drums, electric, guitar and keyboards in preparation for a real rock concert!
Art classes are available for kids, teens, and adults and may include painting, drawing, sculpting, animation, digital arts, and film.
Arts camps at Wonder Music School of Music and Arts incorporate music and arts with STEM, games, outdoor play, and team-building activities. Full-day, half-day, and partial weeks available. Summer camps, winter camps, March break camps, and select PA days.
The school has two Richmond Hill locations—another is at Bathurst and Elgin Mills. Only this location, at Bayview and Weldrick, has day camps for kids.

A good school to learn how to play musical instruments.
My 8 -year-old daughter started learning how to play piano about 6months ago, and so far, she keeps improving in her knowledge and skills of playing the piano. They have good teachers who are very friendly and interactive with the kids.
My two boys have been taking drum lessons in Wonder School of Music in Richmond Hill for 4 months. The boys love the class and are eager to go back to drum lesson every week. The teachers and staff are very patient and motivating. I highly recommend this school.
My experience with Wonder school of Music (“WSM”) has been top-notch!!! I’ve found them to be extremely accommodating – we’re a split family and have a rotating schedule with the kids that makes signing up for weekly programs difficult, but WSM was able to offer flexibility in their scheduling and change their rates accordingly so that my kids could still take lessons every other week that I had them. Really truly appreciate this as so few places offer this kind of flexibility and rate-adjustments, and as a result, kids in separated families often have to opt of extra-curriculars, so, thank you WSM!!!
Our guitar teacher, Mario is simply AMAZING!!! My kids and I adore him – He’s super talented, funny, engaging, entertaining, interesting, and has a rare ability to really connect and relate to those he teaches. Really can’t say enough good things about him!
He’s also great at adjusting his style of teaching to suit the personality and skill level of his students. My kids and I take lessons together with him (highly recommend this BTW to any parent that regrets not learning an instrument earlier in life, or is looking for great way to bond with their kids) and I’m so impressed with how well he’s handled our varying skill and attention levels. His informal and flexible approach to teaching makes the lessons fun and far less frustrating!!
We have been with Wonder school for the past months and we are really happy. They are well organized, helpful & welcoming. The receptionist is very friendly and accomdating whenever our schedule changes. My kid loves her instructor and enjoying her music classes. The school is really clean & nice. Highly recommended.

We had such a wonderful time at their camp over March Break. The kids were well looked after, and Maria and Vivian took great care in choosing programming and making sure the kids had fun. Both of my 6 and 8 year old stayed after for guitar and piano lessons. We rented instruments from them directly as well. Highly recommend!
