York Region Family Fun Day

York Region is hosting its 13th annual Family Fun Day, in celebration of National Public Works Week. They will be showcasing public works services and how they connect communities, with lots of fun activities for the family.
Board a bus and take a tour of York Region’s state-of-the art transit facility, where you will see where 197 buses are washed, serviced, and stored. Visit interactive displays by York Region Environmental Services, Transportation Services, and Paramedic Services. See an ambulance, snow plow, grader, and street sweeper up close. Children can slide down a giant inflatable, smile for face painting, and meet the event mascots, Pylon Pete, Barkley the Tree, and Perry the Paramedic. You can also enjoy a BBQ lunch, with all proceeds supporting 360° kids.
