Richmond Hill Winter Carnival

The Richmond Hill Winter Carnival kicks off with a fireworks display Friday evening, at 8pm. Come back to the park Saturday and Sunday for tons of family fun, including falconry and wood carving demonstrations, a Big Foot race, music, a circus performer, pancake breakfast and more. There will be face painting, pony rides, a colouring contest, and live animals like porcupines and eagles.

Not to be missed is the Viking Village (11 am–4 pm both days), a hands-on, immersive educational experience where you can learn all about viking history through a re-created viking encampment, combat demos, meals, and more.

Admission is free, but visitors are encouraged to purchase a $2 Carnival button. This button gets you entered into a draw to win one of many great prizes.
