Sunday Funday: General Stores

Event Details

The corner of King and Simcoe Street, Oshawa’s “Four Corners,” was the centre of downtown and Oshawa’s first shopping district. Using “Museum Money,” visitors can “purchase'” or “barter” for artefacts and see what kind of stock was available then. Also, check out a reproduction copy of a 1901 Eaton’s Catalogue!

Happening at Verna Conant Gallery, in Guy House.

Admission is free.
