The Sunflower Experience

Durham Region’s first ever Sunflower Experience is coming this August to Pingle’s Farm in Hampton (Clarington).

Explore the 6-acre field of sunflowers including the “classic” sunflower that grows up to 5 feet tall, plus other varieties in a range of colours and sizes. While you’re there, stop by the on-site farm market to enjoy a sweet treat, or pick up some locally grown produce or fresh baked goods to bring home. Patio seating is available outside.

Opt for a general admission ticket or reserve a ticket for a themed event:

• Photographer Pass – time slots reserved for photographers only
• Doggy Day – four-legged friends are welcome on August 20 @ 5–8 pm
• Sunflower Yoga – details TBA
• Sunflowers at Sunset – details TBA; takes place on August 21; ages 19+ only

Timed tickets must be purchased online in advance.

Tickets are sold in 15-minute time slots (i.e. 11 am–11:15 am). Arrive anytime within your time slot to catch your wagon ride to the field. When you arrive at the field you’re welcome to stay for up to 2 hours (each guest will have a coloured wristband indicated time of entry).

Tickets from $10 youth and $16 adults; ages 2 and under free.

Each paying receives a cut sunflower to take home. Additional sunflowers available for sale.
