The Franklin Club Open House

Event Details

The Franklin Club is a member-owned, private recreational fishing club specializing in fly-fishing for rainbow and speckled trout. Normally open to members only, on June 9 the public is welcome to come explore the club and its property at an Open House. Kids can feed the fish and take part in a scavenger hunt. The Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority will lead a hike along Purcell Trail, starting at 10:15, where participants can learn about the plants, animals and insects of the area. Fly fishing and casting lessons will be offered, as well as raffles, giveaways, and more. The Club’s dining room will be open to the public from 12:00 noon – 2:00 pm for lunch.
