This January, Super Scientist STEAM experts are hosting a rocket challenge for kids aged 6–12 in Port Credit. Kids will build a miniature pressurized rocket and launch it at a large-scale moon; older kids will also build an all-terrain moon rover.
The fundamentals of design principles, automotive engineering, and rocket science will be taught as we prototype and test our models. Materials and snacks are provided.
The schedule is as follows:
Launch a Rocket to the Moon (Grades 1–4)
9:30 am–11:30 am
Launch a Rocket and Build a Moon Rover (Grades 5–8)
12:30 pm–3:30 pm
