Much Ado About Nothing

Knockout Theatre Company presents Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, with their own special spin. They have re-imagined the classic story in present-day Muskoka. The wealthy Leonato is hosting his new championship football team at his luxurious cottage home with him and his family. Two guests, Benedick and Beatrice, are the happiest foes of one another, much to the house’s humour and annoyance. When the team’s star player, Claudio, becomes engaged to Leonato’s daughter, Hero, the friends and guests concoct a brilliant plot before the wedding: to fool Beatrice and Benedick they are each secretly, madly in love with each other.

MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING is Shakespeare’s greatest house party and the largest cast in Knockout Theatre’s history.
