Earth Week in Halton Hills: Earth Day and Sustainability Fair

At this annual, family-friendly event at the Georgetown Market Place, meet representatives from local “green” organizations and find out what they do, see the interactive Mountsberg Birds of Prey display, and, for kids only, make a mini-garden to take home.

Additional events take place at other locations around Georgetown and Acton: a tour of the new, sustainably designed Halton Hills Library in Georgetown; a self-guided Greenwalk at the Mold-Masters SportsPlex; activities at the Willow Park Ecology Centre in Norval; and a tour of the Wastewise recycling facility in Georgetown.
