Keen dance enthusiasts from across the GTA will make music visible through dance at Shiamak’s Spring Funk Show at the Rose Theatre, Brampton on March 11, 2018.
Students (ages 4 – 84 years) will bring the stage alive with the magic of celebration and of course Bollywood’s high energy remixes. “My Toronto students have been actively taking part in shows and events showcasing India’s culture and Bollywood music and dance. It’s beautiful to watch people from different ethnic groups come together through dance” says Shiamak.
This recital will showcase Shiamak’s Bollywood Jazz dance style, a favorite amongst all age groups that works as a great stress buster, combines the technique of Jazz with the fun and high energy Bollywood hip shakes and moves. Spring Funk is a culmination of a 6-week training program that provides its participants a great platform to showcase their dance skills and integrates people from all ages, communities and backgrounds through dance and the performing arts.
