Pawsitively Pets Ottawa

Does your child love pets and animals? Does any pet—cat, dog, chinchilla or bird—fascinate them? If so, they’ll love the hands-on classes, camps, and birthday parties offered by Pawsitively Pets. Programs are available for children and adults of all ages, either at the Pawsitively Pets location in Ottawa, or at your home, school, or other venue.

Programs and Classes

Kids can explore the animal world with hands-on classes that focus on a new theme each week. Programs are split into age-appropriate groups, and are designed to help kids learn more about animals, while also developing the skills and responsibility required to care for them. Drop-in classes are also available (check the website for schedule information).

Parties

The unique party packages from Pawsitively Pets turn your child’s birthday celebration into a fun and educational event that they’ll never forget. Parties can be held in your home or on-site, and you can select which rescue animals will be your child’s guests of honour.

Camps

Pawsitively Pets offers cool camps for little animal lovers, like the Farm Friends Camp, Mini Vet Camp, and Junior Dog Trainer Camp. Camps are available for children age 5 to 15, and each program is age-specific to ensure that kids get the most out of their camp experience.

PA Day Programs

The Pawsitively Pets PA day program introduces kids to a wide range of animals during hands-on programming, including birds, reptiles, “pocket pets” and more. PA day programs are open to kids age 5 to 12.
