As part of this Summer’s Wigwam Chi-Chemung programming, Myseum of Toronto and Elder Dr. Duke Redbird present an online participatory experience examining the significance of dance in Indigenous culture, and an opportunity to learn Powwow dance .
This event happening via Zoom will feature a poetry reading by Elder Redbird, a dance performance by Nimkii Osawamick (Wolf Clan) and a performance and dance workshop facilitated by Angela Miracle Gladue (A Tribe Called Red).
Join us for this family friendly event, which is a unique opportunity to learn about and participate in Powwow dance from the comfort of your own space (home, office, etc.).
