At the first-ever Ravine Days, a number of events are taking place around Toronto’s ravine system. Ravines define Toronto’s landscape: over 17% of Toronto’s total area is ravine land and 87% of Toronto’s Environmentally Significant Areas are found in Toronto ravines.
Events include a shoreline cleanup, Humber Arboretum pruning workshop, the outdoor photographic exhibit Making Peace at Corktown Commons, various family activities at Evergreen Brick Works, a Cedarvale Park tree planting, and family events at the High Park Nature Centre.
