Little BioBlitz

Help identify and count as many plants, animals, and insects as possible in the OURSpace outdoor classroom at the High Park Nature Centre. At these all-ages nature workshops, meet with expert naturalists and scientists and explore using magnifying glasses and binoculars. Offered in partnership with Bird Studies Canada, the High Park Moth Study Group, Toronto Field Naturalists, the University of Toronto, and the High Park Bee Monitoring Club.

Workshops take place all day. Attend any or all of the following sessions:
7 am: Birds
8 am: iNaturalist for Beginners
9 am: Native Plants
10 am: Bees
11 am: Dragonflies
1 pm: Lawn weeds
2 pm: Butterflies
3 pm: Insects
4 pm: Planting Native Plants
6 pm: Mushrooms and Other Fungi
7 pm: iNaturalist for Beginners
8 pm: Bats
9 pm: Moths
