Knife defense skills workshop for kids and youth ages 8 and up. Parents are welcome to watch or participate. Participants use rubber or wooden training knives (provided, or bring your own) to learn knife defense in a safe, controlled, supervised setting. Get familiar with the weapon, learn to breathe under stress, train your body to evade a knife, and learn to recognize who may have a knife in a crowd.
Pre-registration is required: email training@russianmartialart.com or call 905-881-4711 and indicate participants’ name(s), email, and phone number and whether registration is for a child or adult.
This is a free, charitable event offered by Systema – Russian Martial Art. All proceeds from donations will go to SickKids Hospital Toronto.
