Clay Activity: Sculpt a Cup

Vessels and containment are central to the work of Steven Heinemann. Discover the unique forms featured in our retrospective exhibit, and take part in a vessel-building workshop in the museum’s studio. Learn how to make your own cup using the slab technique taught by a museum instructor.

Admission is free for visitors 18 and under. Regular admission applies for adults. Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and each accompanying adult must purchase a general admission ticket. Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
