The first Akweni Ki (I Can Do It) indigenous festival is coming to the GTA. Besides the traditional pow-wow, there will native vendors, artists, native food and a gala dinner and dance with Academy Award winner Duane Howard and CMA Award winner Crystal Shawanda, plus an indigenous art showcase, fashion show, and music performances. Kids 10 and under are free.
