Chef Johl Whiteduck Ringuette is the owner of NishDish, a First Nations owned and operated catering business specializing in Anishnawbe cuisine. He teaches culinary arts, helps communities to plant Indigenous food gardens, and is the founder of the Toronto Indigenous Business Association, among many other impressive achievements.

Chef Johl will discuss his journey to understand his identity and the role of food in traditional Indigenous communities. Bannock, vegan cornbread, and cedar tea will be served.

Participants must be 13-19 years old.
