The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery hosts free arts workshops for children ages 7–12. Each begins with a tour of the current exhibition and concludes with an art activity. In this workshop, inspired by an exhibit exploring the past and future of a city’s inhabitants (by Sammy Baloji and Filip De Boeck), kids transform historic images of Toronto into futuristic scenes using plastic, paper, and textiles.
