The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery hosts free arts workshops for children ages 7–12. Each begins with a tour of the current exhibition and concludes with an art activity. In this workshop, inspired by a photographic exhibition by Sammy Baloji and Filip De Boeck, kids learn about the origins of the camera and the basic techniques of photography and construct their own camera obscura using cardboard, lenses, and mirrors.
