Art Day in the Rouge with the TSO

Art Day in the Rouge celebrates the area’s rich art history and the links between art and nature. Stroll along the Artists Walk and meet artists as they work in front of your eyes. Pick up a colour wheel challenge to do as you go: can you collect photos of all the colours in nature? Fun hands-on art activities for all ages: contribute to the nature mural; explore nature’s textures at the clay impressions station, and learn about the historic practice of fish printing.

Join one of the McMichael Canadian art Collection’s signature live competitive painting Art Battles (registration required); take a guided photography hike at 10 am, noon, or 3 pm; and don’t miss the Toronto Symphony Orchestra’s Brass Quintet who will perform three 20-minute sets at 1 pm, 1:30 pm, and 2:10 pm.
