Training and Hand-Raising Polar Bears

This special presentation gives polar bear fans the chance to meet one of the Zoo’s own polar bear keepers who will share her fascinating stories about the Zoo’s polar bear family and the importance of enrichment and training for them. Following the keeper presentation, a veterinary technician will delight you with her experiences in hand-raising the Zoo’s polar bear cubs.

Talk will take place in the Zoo’s Education Auditorium. Cost: $15 per Member; $20 per Non-Member plus General Admission fee.

A portion of the proceeds gathered for this program will be directed towards funding the Polar Bear Conservation Program at the Toronto Zoo.
