A narration of How the Grinch Stole Christmas and a performance of “Let It Go” from Frozen are two highlights of this magical winter program. This is a great opportunity to introduce youth and children to the wonder of orchestral music. The full program also includes “Concerto for Viola” by William Walton and Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel overture.
As an added feature, young patrons will have access to an instrument “petting zoo”, courtesy of Long & McQuade. Arrive for the pre-concert chat with conductor Kevin Mallon at 2:15.
