About Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada

Enjoy an underwater adventure at Toronto’s only aquarium. Ripley’s features 20,000 aquatic animals in more than 5.7 million litres of water and over 100 interactive exhibits, including touch pools and multimedia displays

Dangerous Lagoon is the largest gallery and includes North America’s longest underwater viewing tunnel. It features sand tiger sharks, green sawfish, and one of the world’s largest species of sea turtles, the green sea turtles.

You’ll also see giant octopuses, stingrays, jelly fish, horseshoe crabs and more in the eight other galleries, including Canadian Waters, Rainbow Reef, Dangerous Lagoon, Discovery Centre, The Gallery, Ray Bay, Planet Jellies, Life Support Systems, and Shoreline Gallery. The time-limited Curious Creatures gallery features bizarre sea creatures including the frogfish and peacock mantis shrimp.

Special experiences include a stingray experience and family sleepovers.

Camps and Clubs

Programs are available for ages 2 to teens. Sea Squirts for young children aged 2 to 4 features a different sea creature each week and related activity and story time.

Day Camps offer the opportunity for kids to immerse themselves in the aquarium through hands-on activities, gallery exploration and behind the scenes adventures.

Birthday Parties

Your child can have an underwater adventure birthday party. Four themes (Under the Sea, Mermaids, Pirates, and Sharks) are available. Packages include aquarium admission, two hours in a private decorated party room, pizza and drinks, cupcakes (peanut and tree-nut free), and a craft activity and loot bag for each child. The birthday child also receives a free picture at the Photo Port.
