Partners in Protection: Parks Canada at the ROM

Event Details

This event finished on 29 April 2018

The Royal Ontario Museum is celebrating Earth Month with this Partners in Protection program. On April 27 & 28, they are welcoming Parks Canada to the Earth Rangers Studio, located within the Life in Crisis: Schad Gallery of Biodiversity. Visitors will be able to take part in fun and interactive activities, including a Biodiversity Identification table where you can play a game to identify which species are on display. Kids can scroll through an interactive touch screen presentation to hear some wildlife sounds from Toronto’s own Rouge National Urban Park, and check out a Blanding’s Turtle Exhibit to learn more about this Species at Risk. Creative types can hang out at the colouring station and colour Parks Canada’s mascot, Parka, as he enjoys a variety of activities that you could also do at Canada’s many National Parks.
