Samba Kidz Drumming Workshops

Samba Kidz workshops are fun, interactive sessions where children and youth learn to play Brazilian-based percussion through exciting world music rhythms such as Samba, Reggae, Funk and Soca. Workshops are open to children 7 years and older and ages 6 and under if accompanied by an adult. Parents can join for no extra cost.

The drumming classes are hands-on, with very little “sitting still” time. There will be lots of playing and exploring different percussion instruments. No musical experience is necessary and instruments are provided. Ear protection (i.e. earplugs) are mandatory—bring your own or purchase onsite for $2 each.

Cost per workshop is $10—cash only. RSVP to reserve a spot (maximum is 20 new players per session).
