Rover Exploration Challenge

Event Details

This event finished on 29 July 2018

Experience what it is like to be a space scientist or engineer and remotely operate an analogue rover in this simulated mission. Participants will form a team of planetary scientists led by researchers from the Planetary Volatiles Laboratory at York University. Explore your mystery planet using instruments like anemometers and Geiger counters, similar to those used on rover missions to Mars. Can this planet support human life?

Limited capacity. Recommended ages: 8 and up
Experiences at 11:00 am, 12:00 noon, 1:00, 2:00 & 3:00 pm (plus 4:00 pm Saturday only), in Studio 1 on Level 2.
