Migratory Bird Day at Mountsberg

See how migratory birds are captured and information is gathered and recorded, then take part in their release back to the wild. For more bird fun take in on one of the park’s Bird of Prey shows (offered at noon and 2 pm) or hike through Swallowville to see Mountsberg’s resident colony of nesting tree swallows!

The Wildlife Walkway offers a gentle stroll to a viewing platform of the Mountsberg reservoir, a refuge for many species of waterfowl such as ducks, geese, swans, and cormorants as well wading birds such as herons and bitterns.
