CFW Bike Fair and Bike Giveaway

Every Saturday in summer, kids ages 6–11 can take part in a bike fair at the rink at Regent Park Athletic Centre grounds for bike-related games, a bicycle obstacle course, and biking skills practice. Learn how to fit a helmet, how to maintain a bike, and decorate your wheels.

For kids who need a bike, there will be a few bikes on hand to give away—on a first-come, first-served basis. Kids can also sign up for learn-to-ride classes in advance or at the event.

This event is hosted by Charlie’s Free Wheels, a nonprofit that works to improve kids’ access to bicycles as well as to improve cycling skills, riding skills, and confidence for youth.
