Practice from Live Models! 8 week course starts January 9, 2018, for ages 14 and up.
Learn how to draw realistic faces and 3 dimensional heads in this 8 week drawing course. Learn the steps to drawing heads in different angles and the tricks to capturing likeness and expression. A materials list will be provided upon registration.
Jan 9: Lesson: Introduction to Head Drawing: proportions of the face, angles, and structure
Jan 16: Model: 2.5 hour open drawing session featuring a female model
Jan 23: Lesson: How to draw realistic eyes, noses, and mouths
Jan 30: Model: 2.5 hour open drawing session featuring a male model
Feb 6: Lesson: How to draw realistic hair, teeth, and ears
Feb 13: Model: 2.5 hour open drawing session featuring a female model
Feb 20: Lesson: Review, shading and colouring techniques
Feb 27: Model: 2.5 hour open drawing session featuring a male model
After the last class, student have the option of continuing their studies with Open Life Drawing
