A Musical Extravaganza in 2 parts!

Written by Raffaello Lavagna with Music by Alberico Vitalini
Translated from Italian to English by Angela Marchese
Directed by Mike Mclay

This Musical will be presented at Columbus Centre from Wed February – Sun March 3, 2019, for a week-long celebration for children and adults.

The play derived from Carlo Collodi’s book Pinocchio. It is an eternal story of a boy who refuses to comply with good behaviour and parental instructions. That, places him in risky situations, especially when he meets his enemies, the Cat and the Fox.

However, this musical play promises to entertain our audiences displaying great wit and humour. Pinocchio’s theme and desire is to become unruly. He borders on the edge… and offers transparent clashes between: his father Geppetto, his friends, The Talking Cricket, The Fairy, and The Wick who warn him, to behave and listen to good advice.

At times it is doubtful that the puppet will return home and recover from the perils of mental bruises that he receives from life on the street. And with the many characters that dwell in Pinocchio’s fantasy, he continues to be lonely, nervous and doubtful until better sense prevails…

COME AND ENJOY THIS MUSICAL EXTRAVAGANZA!
