Family Day at Young People’s Theatre

On Family Day, Monday, February 19, Young People’s Theatre (YPT) will be a hive of activity from top to bottom floors, with a performance of the children’s classic The Secret Garden, two performances of the award-winning show for babies, One Thing Leads to Another — PLUS Family Workshops, FREE tours and drop-in activities!

• In the Classroom from 12PM-1PM or 1:15PM-2:15PM: Family Workshops (for ages 6 & up): Family Workshop participants will learn about the story of The Secret Garden and work together to explore the power of play and imagination. As with all of YPT Family Workshops, parents and caregivers are invited to play and create alongside the younger participants. Fee: $5 per person; pre-registration required as space is limited.
• In the Lobbies & Shops from 1PM-2:15PM: Drop-In Activities (for ages 6 & up): Families can join in a craft activity connected to The Secret Garden; enjoy behind-the-scenes tours of the prop, set and carpentry workshops; and participate in a scavenger hunt! FREE of charge with ticket purchase
