If you’ve ever wondered about aerial acrobatics, be sure to visit Earl Bales Park on Monday evenings in July. From 5:00 – 6:30 pm, circus artists will guide participants in a mini-workshop in aerial arts and partner acrobatics. Open to all levels of ability. Ages 8+.
Following the workshop, stay to enjoy a 30 minute Aerial Performance at 7:00 pm. Birds of Flight is a contemporary circus performance centering around the interactions of three Canadian birds. Told through a mixture of physical theatre and the spectacular language of aerial dance on lyra, corde lisse, and aerial silks, these birds explore what it means to fly as they navigate the Toronto landscape in each of our backyards.
