Event Details

This event finished on 06 May 2018

North America’s largest documentary festival, Toronto’s Hot Docs has an outstanding selection of more than 200 films from Canada and around the world. Not all films are suitable for kids, but many are appropriate for teens and there are films rated G and PG that are suitable for younger kids, generally ages 8 and up.

Highlights this year include Won’t You Be My Neighbor, about children’s television host Fred Rogers, and several films that follow inspirational kids and teens around the world, including Grit, Amal, Chef Flynn, and Inventing Tomorrow.

Tickets are sold individually per screening; see the 2018 film schedule and buy tickets online.

Films are screened at more than a dozen venues, many at TIFF Bell Lightbox (350 King St. W., Toronto), Hot Docs Ted Rogers Cinema (506 Bloor St. W., Toronto), and the Isabel Bader Theatre (93 Charles St. W., Toronto).
