Presented by The Sweet Potato, the Junction’s 8th Annual Summer Solstice Festival is going to be bigger than ever! Live music, art market, food, craft, street performers + lots of fun for the whole family!
The festival takes place along Dundas Street West in the Junction from High Park Avenue to Indian Grove Road (Dundas will be closed to vehicle traffic). See the map with attraction locations.
This year’s theme will be a retro-inspired beach party. Wear your funkiest beach attire and best Hawaiian shirt!
Highlights
- Tropical Kids’ Zone with a beach, obstacle course, sand castles and preschool play area
- Rides on the Junction Express antique trackless train
- Pirate Life full-size pirate ship to explore
- Rock, hip-hop, and pop bands on the Main Stage (Dundas and Pacific) on the hour all day and evening, including a Tragically Hip tribute band at 8 pm and headliner Wing Night
- Community Stage (Dundas and Mavety) live punk and indie bands, plus live band karaoke at 6 pm
- More than 80 vendors and local businesses.
