The Redpath Waterfront Festival, presented by Billy Bishop Airport, is an annual summer event providing on-land and on-water programming for people of all ages and interests, with the goal of promoting Toronto locally and internationally as a premiere waterfront destination. With music, food and nautical entertainment, the festival offers something for everyone to enjoy. Every three years, the event welcomes majestic Tall Ships to Toronto.

Here are some highlights:

  • Maritime Market: nautical food, treats, treasures and more!
  • Oyster Shucking Competition put on by the famous Rodney’s Oyster House. Watch professional shuckers go head to head in a two-day competition and sample some of the best Oysters in Canada.
  • Live Entertainment from Screeched Inn, a Canadian Celtic rock group and The Great Canadian Fiddle Show, a traditional fiddling and step dancing band. The Next Generation Leahy sibling group is taking Celtic music into the modern era for new audiences with their memorable performances. Catch Pressgang Mutiny, a Toronto sea shanty group, who will roam through the festival serenading guests with traditional working songs as well as many more entertainers!
