Indigenous Arts Festival at Fort York

The multi-day festival of Indigenous culture energizes Fort York with performances by Indigenous artists from across Turtle Island and beyond, and includes storytelling, dance, film, food, artisan market, and more. Performances by Beatrice Deer, Quantum Tangle, Fawn Big Canoe, Jah’kota, and more.

Indigenous Arts Festival is produced by the City of Toronto in partnership with Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Na-Me-Res (Native Men’s Residence), the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, and The Friends of Fort York and Garrison Common. The festival is presented by Tim Hortons with financial support from the Government of Canada.

Friday, June 21 – 10 am to 10 pm
Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with free dance and music performances, and activities for the whole family.

Saturday, June 22 – 10 am to 9 pm
Experience the annual Na-Me-Res Traditional Pow-Wow, family friendly activities and tours. Free!

Sunday, June 23 – 10 am to 5 pm
Shop arts and crafts, and explore an Indigenous artisan market featuring contemporary and traditional fashion goods.
