The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery hosts free arts workshops for children ages 7–12. Each begins with a tour of the current exhibition and concludes with an art activity. In this workshop, inspired by Amalia Pica’s cardboard reconstructions of acoustic mirrors used in WWI and WWII, kids design and create their own gliding airplanes, then take them outside to watch them fly.
