This year, Family Day at the Art Gallery of Ontario is all about COLOUR, with a full day of fun for kids, including interactive music, movement, and art activities.
Get hands-on with abstract painting—with or without paint, popping up a storm in the bubble wrap room, stickering the walls of the rainbow room, and dancing at the all-ages dance party led by Movement Lab. There will also be a fortune-telling gallery tour, an emoji mask making station, kid-friendly films, and a colourful selfie wall.
Family Day 2018 at the AGO is Monday, February 19, 10:30 am–4 pm. General admission to the museum applies.
You can also browse the permanent collection and current exhibitions like ReBlink: a cool augmented reality experience applied to historical works of art. The on-site, cafeteria-style caféAGO is open all day for snacks or lunch—or pack your own to eat in the Weston Family Learning Centre on the concourse level.
