Best Drop-In Indoor Playgrounds in Toronto & the GTA

Family Fun

When it’s too rainy, too cold, or too hot to play outside, indoor playgrounds provide a fun way for kids to stay active indoors. Some have play spaces for babies and toddlers—others are exclusively for kids within certain age ranges, and nearly all are suitable for kids ages 4–9.

Each of the playgrounds we’ve listed here has scheduled drop-in play, but you can usually get a membership for repeat visits that will save you some money. Some indoor playgrounds are closed on weekends (usually for birthday parties) so be sure to read the fine print.

Also, be aware that on rainy days, popular spots might hit capacity early the day, so call ahead to be sure they’re taking more drop-in visitors before you go.
