Toronto Sailing & Canoe Club

This nonprofit organization—in operation since 1880—offers sailing and paddling lessons and summer camps for children and youth ages 6 to 17. Learn-to-sail programs are run by experienced instructors trained and certified by Sail Canada. 

Options for kids and youth include a beginner Wet Feet course for ages 6–8, CanSail summer camp programs that follow the Sail Canada curriculum, and racing teams for experienced sailors ages 9 and up.

Membership is not required to take a sailing course. Families can learn to sail together and TSCC has adult lessons as well as private lessons on dinghies and keelboats for all ages.

Each year, the TSCC has a free sailing event called Get Out on the Water to teach adults and children to sail.
