Though most birds adapt to the winter by flying to warmer places, some are super tough and hang out as residents all winter long!
Come to High Park Nature Center and join them for a winter wander to look for, listen to and and help out some of winter bird friends. Learn about the unique physical and behavioural adaptations that enable birds to survive in the winter.
This is a free, all-ages event. Recommended donation of $2-5 per person. Kindly note, Family Nature Walks take place on wooded trails that are not stroller or wheelchair accessible. Remember to dress for the weather, as this is an outdoor event. RSVP online here.
