About GymKats – CLOSED

This business has been reported as permanently closed.

GymKats offers gymnastics classes, camps, and play for toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children in Leaside, Toronto.

Recreational gymnastics classes and camps are offered in a fun, active, and safe environment. The staff focuses on teaching gymnastics skills through child-friendly and fun progressions, in order to build a child’s confidence and athletic abilities.

Gymnastics Classes

After-school and weekend class options include:

  • Baby and Preschool (ages 8 months–4 years): For babies and children with a parent or caregiver to play and explore.
  • School-Age (ages 4–12): Kids learn basic gymnastics and tumbling skills, progressing through five levels; includes a Ninja Class for children to explore “Ninja Warrior” skills like jumps, swings, and obstacles
  • Advanced Recreational (ages 5 and up): For kids interested in learning advanced skills on vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor, and rings.

Gymnastics Camps

GymKats has summer camps as well as camps during winter break, March break, and on PA days. Camps are suitable for beginners and non-beginners. Coaches assess each child’s ability and comfort zone at the start of camp. In addition to tumbling and gymnastics, themed camps might incorporate science experiments, ninja training, and superhero costumes.

Gymnastics Birthday Parties

For kids who love to run, jump, and tumble, a gymnastics birthday party is ideal. Kids spend 45 minutes in the gym with coaches, using the beams, rings, and soft structures. Coaches lead gymnastics-related games and a fun gym circuit. For ages 4–10 and up to 10 guests.

Three party options are available: the “Basic” GymKats Party, the Under the Sea Mermaid Adventure Party, and the Jungle Adventure Party.

Friday Night In

GymKats regularly schedules a drop-off “night in” for kids on Fridays, 5–8 pm. Each event has a theme and includes gymnastics, gym games, a photo booth, crafts, and a pizza dinner. Beginner and intermediate gymnasts are welcome.
