When you walk inside colourful Kidville, it’s a sensory overload: the brightly painted walls, the playroom with a climbing wall and ball pits for younger and older kids, the zip line. Kidville has thought of everything for children and parents, down to mini lab coats for young scientists to the boutique where you can pick up last-minute birthday presents to the valet service to find that always-elusive parking spot for you.

My one-year-old and I participated in Rockin’ Railroad, while my four-year-old son took in Savvy Scientists & Awesome Engineers. With Rockin’ Railroad, my youngest and I were transported by the four-piece band and their imaginary train from Kidville to Instrumentville to Grandma’s house. The upbeat, interactive and energizing 45-minute class kept my toddler moving and kept me giggling along to the songs—all of which are originals, written specifically for Kidville.

My budding Einstein was kept busy for an hour of fact-finding and tactile designing during the science class. On the car ride home I was inundated with information: I didn’t know that a snake may shed its skin four times within a year! Kidville rating by my four-year-old: two thumbs up!
All in all, my kids and I had a ball. Who wouldn’t? Kidville is a utopia for kids.
