Just Like a Girl in Sports

The vision of this not-for-profit organization is to empower girls through sports by creating a gender-neutral environment in sports to help girls stay healthy physically and mentally to become strong and powerful women.

Female athletes are three times more likely to graduate and 82% of senior executives played organized sports while growing up. Still, sports dropout rates for girls are six times the rate for boys. Just Like a Girl in Sports strives to involve and retain more girls in sports and empower them through positive leadership.

Just Like a Girl in Sports is a resource for parents, coaches, and youth athletes to learn about creating a female-friendly environment for girls in sports and to find out about events and sports programs for girls.
